Welcome! I’m Sabrina, 'Capturing Joy’ is my little blog that I like to call a pensieve of inspiration, happiness, and thanksgiving.
This blog started out as a form of catharsis, but has blossomed into my thoughts on life, love, literature, and traveling. My little way of making my corner of the world a prettier place.
A note: I was inspired to develop Capturing Joy in the midst of a season of life when joy seemed to be missing. I felt as if I had been lead to the darkest valley, filled with sadness and overwhelmed with grief. The word joy is significant because the God I know and love, displayed then in the hunger of my soul, that He is a God of joy. His promises of His love and eternal life are unending, and His presence is worth seeking forever.
I am now in a different season of life, and "building the nest," of the home my husband, Jacob, and I share. I feel as if my cup runneth over and I am the happiest I have ever been. God has truly blessed us.
